Career Consultant : Amber Travis-Ballinas, MBA Amber Travis-Ballinas is a career consultant, university lecturer, and public speaker. She holds a bachelor degree in management from the University of Texas at Austin, Texas, and a master degree specializing in international business management from The University of Saint Thomas in Houston, Texas. She has over twenty-five years of work experience focusing on sales, marketing, and strategic management.
Amber was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and has had an opportunity to live and work in many states across the USA. During college, she had an internship in Washington DC working for the AFL-CIO International Headquarters. After completing graduate school, she moved to Los Angeles, California, where she worked as a sales manager and taught business classes for LMU. Later, she and her husband moved to the island of Oahu in Hawaii where she taught business classes for HPU and BYUH.
